Heart of Glass

So good news, I didn't decapitate myself today! The necklace I'm wearing here I Macgyvered together using wire, a grocery bag and pieces of broken glass I found on the ground in Toronto. I'm going to use it as part of my Trash-dress outfit. I figured I'd guinea pig myself and try wearing it for a day before subjecting the poor model to it. I got one small cut on my finger while putting it together, but otherwise I'm safe and sound. I went and saw the movie 'Splice' tonight, pretty good. It features the ever lovely Sarah Polley. I love her because she has some serious spunk. She's turned down a lot of mainstream roles to do her own thing, She once chipped a tooth at a rowdy protest, she's directed her own film ('Away from her', very good) and is about to direct her second and once accepted a movie role soley because "she got to fuck a troll" (her words, not mine) I wish there were more actresses like her.
