Open for business

My etsy store is open! Visit it at http://www.thepaleandpallorprincess.com/
I've also got a facebook page: The Pale Pallor Princess for the store & my blog together. I haven't had a whole lot of time for blogging (posting or reading) over the last week. Going to be moving in a couple weeks, trying to finish off the trash-dress for the contest, trying to figure out this whole how to date thing and launching my etsy store. I need a nap. Most of it seems to be coming together though. Except for the moving part, I haven't even started packing.
I'm a little late announcing it, but the long awaited winner of my giveaway for the necklace made by me is: Beth! leave me a comment with your info and I'll get it sent out as soon as I can. Thanks everyone for entering!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  1. Dear Princess,
I am also in Canada and I am wondering what stores or places you shop for your clothes, or if you have any tips/advice?

  3. Hey Erin, the places I shop the most are:
Ricki's, Reitmans, Old Navy, Joe Fresh, Goodwill, Winners & Value Village.
As Far as tips, I use accessories to dress things up or give things a different look, I get most of my stockings from Forever 21, shoes from Payless, Aldo's & Zellers (found a few cute pairs there for decent prices) Jewellery from Aldo's, Forever 21, Icing & Le Chateau.
I'd also recommend trying on all sorts of different sizes (especially when shopping places like Goodwill & Value Village) Joe Fresh for example doesn't go very big, but items like cardigans and and tank tops fit ok. I've fit into a size 12 dress at H&M that had stretch to it (I'm like an 18 usually) Items that are too big can be taken in, belted to give more definition or pinned in.
I wear belts a lot because they give you waist definition and often finish the look.
Hope that helped some. I usually list where most of my clothing is from in my outfit posts.
